How to delete your Canacia account and what happens to your data.

1. How to delete your account
You can delete your account directly within the Canacia app. The deletion option is available in your account and privacy settings. Follow the confirmation steps to complete the deletion.
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing support@canacia.com from the email address associated with your account.
2. What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers: your account profile, synced grow data (plants, environments, measurements, feed records), synced case records (photos, notes, diagnostic results), action history and follow-up plans, and any cloud-stored preferences.
Waitlist entries associated with your email are also removed upon request.
3. What is not affected
Data stored locally on your device is not affected by server-side account deletion. To remove local data, uninstall the app or use the in-app data management options.
If you have exported data prior to deletion, those exports remain in your possession.
4. Processing time
In-app deletion is processed immediately. Synced data is removed from our servers within 30 days.
Support-based deletion requests are typically processed within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.
5. Before you delete
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want to keep a copy of your data, use the export feature in the app before deleting your account.
If you only want to stop cloud sync, you can disable sync in the app settings without deleting your account.
